Scaling what works: A global Plan to Reverse the Red & Deliver GBF Target 4
Date & Time
Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM
Description

This is a conversation about possibility: what can be achieved when ambition is matched with alignment—and how your organization can be part of a global movement already turning the tide for nature. Species are the foundation of biodiversity. Restoring species fuels biodiversity restoration.

Join us for a focused, high-impact workshop exploring how Reverse the Red, an international action partnership, is mobilizing a globally coordinated response to halt extinctions and restore species in line with Global Biodiversity Framework Target 4 by 2030.

This session will highlight how more than 10,000 civil society organizations, scientific experts, and institutional partners are aligning with governments to deliver measurable conservation outcomes at scale. Species recovery works; however, increasing the pace and scale is the next step. Designed for corporate leaders and philanthropic decision-makers who want to see strategic coordination, clear metrics, and cross-sector collaboration to unlock transformative impact for biodiversity. This workshop will engage the current strategy and facilitate strategic discussion around scalability in engagement and impact.
