The Executive Leadership Forum is a co-hosted gathering of Global Green, the World Business Council for
Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) convened to advance a
shared vision and action plan for healthier, more resilient cities. Bringing together an exceptional group of leading
experts from industry, academia, public health, civil society, and mission-driven organizations, this forum will
explore how people-centered buildings and organizational strategies can improve human health, bolster resilience,
and strengthen communities. This conversation sits at the broad nexus of people/communities, health/well-being, and the
built environment and infrastructure, sustainability, resilience, and risk reduction—charting a path forward for
leaders who recognize the profound impact that the built environment and organizational decisions have on people
and cities.
Designed as an interactive and solutions-oriented exchange, the forum will surface new ideas, proven practices, and
practical tools to help organizations accelerate progress. Participants will engage in dynamic conversations focused
on reducing physical risk, advancing health and resilience, and mobilizing aligned efforts across sectors that could
initiate a decisive shift in how we adapt our built environment for a rapidly changing and evolving climate, nature
and societal environment. Through a mix of fireside dialogue, expert insights, and facilitated small-group
engagement, the Forum aims to build collective momentum and commitments toward healthier buildings, stronger
organizations, and more resilient cities that deliver meaningful benefits for people and the planet.
In addition, we seek to have as an outcome of the “Forum Pledge” signed by attendees alongside a directional post
event “EarthX Executive Leadership Forum Report” that will point the way toward further discussion, solutions, and
implementation, and a cadence of engagements.
