Sasha Royce is a ClimateTech entrepreneur and materials innovator working at the intersection of advanced textiles, circular fashion, and sustainable materials. She is the founder and CEO of SSS – Smart Sustainable Solutions d/b/a Smart SwimSuits, an award-winning sustainable swimwear and materials company recognized as the Most Innovative and Sustainable Swimwear Brand in the World (2023–2024) and shortlisted in 2025 by Drapers for Sustainable Textile Innovation.
Smart SwimSuits has been showcased on leading global fashion stages, including New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week, with international media coverage in Vogue, Glamour, Tatler, and other major publications.
Sasha is the inventor and patent holder of next-generation sustainable materials, including 100% biodegradable plastic that is toxin-free, BPA-free, and produces 0% microplastics, with patents registered in multiple countries. She also holds IP for an innovative fabric technology designed to replace polyester in swimwear and athletic wear with biodegradable alternatives—addressing one of the largest sources of microplastic pollution in fashion.
Her work extends beyond products into global environmental impact and policy-aligned sustainability initiatives. Sasha has participated in multiple international sustainability panels and is collaborating with the Schmidt Ocean Institute on an ocean-inspired 2026 sustainable collection supporting ocean protection.
She has partnered with global brands including Smartwater during Miami Art Basel and Coca-Cola at Coachella 2025, and created a sustainable collection for the Michael Jackson Tribute Show in Las Vegas (2025).
