Sarah Ziomek is the Senior Manager, Enterprise Sustainability Programs Management at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW Airport), where she leads the development and implementation of the Airport’s sustainability strategy, focusing on areas such as decarbonization, energy performance, circular economy, water, and biodiversity. She also oversees the airport’s solid waste and recycling, composting, and environmental grants programs.
She currently serves as the Chair for the Air Quality Working Group of Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA) and represents ACI-NA on the global Airport Carbon Accreditation Task Force.
Sarah holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University. Prior to joining DFW Airport, Sarah worked in environmental consulting across multiple industries and held positions with the Botanical Research Institute of Texas and the National Park Service.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and silversmithing.
