Dr. Sara Rana, MD, MBA is an experienced entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. Sara is the Associate Partner at Legendary Ventures out of NY/CA who leads early stage investing for the fund. She has had 8 years of experience in healthcare from the early stage to the late stage.
After graduating from medical school, Sara worked in the late stage M&A space with Texas Health Resources merging clinics and centers to sell them to private equity firms. While completing her MBA at NYU Stern, Sara launched the ChatGPT for transplant surgeons building new frameworks and risk scores that allow surgeons to make clinical decisions within seconds.
The tool partnered with Baylor College of Medicine. Sara also worked in healthcare VC in Boston and Austin covering wearables and remote patient monitoring devices.
