Margret Trilli is the CEO of ImpactAssets and ImpactAssets Capital Partners, a $5 billion, alternative‑asset platform and one of the most active private markets investors in the U.S. In 2025 alone, her team executed nearly 400 private market investments totaling $650MM—more than one impact investment every business day—setting a new standard for speed, scale, and discipline in the sector.  Working with the nation’s leading family offices, private foundations, and corporate investment teams, Margret brings a practical, market‑tested understanding of how to source, evaluate, and scale impact opportunities across sectors. This vantage point gives her a unique read on where capital is moving and the emerging opportunities gaining traction among serious allocators. 
Margret serves on the boards of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Water.org and WaterEquity, advancing climate resilience, financing energy transitions in low-income communities, and ensuring safe water access for people living in poverty worldwide. She also contributes her expertise on investment committees for influential family offices and foundations and is the Chair for the Institute for Private Investors 2026 Alternatives Conference.   
Previously, Margret has led investments, turnarounds and acquisitions for Barclays Global Investors/Blackrock, Charles Schwab and large family offices. She holds business degrees from UC Santa Barbara and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
