Eric Rubenstein is Managing Partner at New Climate Ventures (“NCV”), an early-stage venture capital firm investing in the future of how the world produces, powers and consumes. The firm backs founders building the next generation of technologies across energy, materials, and fuels - among other innovations supporting the emerging New Industrial Revolution. Mr. Rubenstein brings decades of experience in global commodities markets and finance, applying a pragmatic, market-oriented approach to identifying technologies capable of scaling within industry and the built environment. Prior to launching NCV in 2021, he held investment, strategy, and trading roles within the commodities and energy divisions of Citigroup and Louis Dreyfus. Mr. Rubenstein earned a BA from Yale University, where he studied psychology with a focus on behavioral neuroscience, and an MBA from Temple University with concentrations in global business and entrepreneurship.
