Patrick Carreno serves as the Director of Aviation for the City of Dallas, overseeing Dallas Love Field (DAL), Dallas Executive Airport (RBD), and the Dallas Vertiport (JDB). With over 20 years of experience across major hubs and commercial airlines, Patrick is a distinguished leader known for balancing complex operational demands with a relentless focus on the passenger experience.
Since joining the City of Dallas in 2021, Patrick has navigated key leadership transitions, serving as Assistant Director of Operations before his current appointment in 2022. Under his guidance, Dallas Love Field has solidified its reputation as a world-class gateway. 
Prior to Dallas, Patrick was a Vice President of Operations for Pittsburgh International and held leadership roles at commercial and general aviation airports across the country. Patrick holds a B.S. in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and is a licensed Commercial Pilot.
