Michelle Jolly is the Director of Sustainability Solutions and Services at Amazon. In this role, her team launched the Amazon Sustainability Exchange: a free, public website that democratizes access to Amazon’s and other companies’ sustainability technology, science, and other proven solutions to accelerate collective action. She also leads the Carbon Credit Service, which allows companies in Amazon’s value chain to purchase the same carbon credits that Amazon uses, further scaling critical climate solutions. A versatile business and technology leader, Michelle’s Amazon career spans roles across retail and digital, including pioneering strategy for physical stores, reenvisioning online customer experience in US consumables, and foundational mobile product management at IMDb. Beyond her corporate roles, Michelle is a passionate advocate for the arts, having co-founded the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, where she continues to serve on the board. Michelle holds a BS in Business from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Yale University.
