Woldu Ameneshoa has served at the Dallas County Health and Human Services Department for the past 21 years in a variety of progressively responsible roles. For the last seven years, he has led the Chronic Disease Prevention Division (CDPD) as Assistant Director, providing strategic oversight for initiatives addressing chronic diseases, and community wellness. He earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth in 2012. In addition, he is a certified Texas A&M AgriLife Master Gardener, and certified Lifestyle Coach, reflecting his commitment to community-based approaches that promote nutrition, physical activity, and healthy living across Dallas County.
