Ian works with Burnham’s corporate development team to develop high impact recourse recovery projects. He has over 15 years of experience in the sustainability sector and has held various roles in both the public and private sectors. Ian spent the first half of his career at the Delaware County Water Quality Control Authority (DELCORA) where he became a licensed wastewater operator and ultimately led environmental compliance and supported strategic planning for the utility serving a population of over 500,000. He then held various roles in the private sector, including providing innovation and technology consulting to leading clean water organizations at Isle Utilities and leading business development and project origination in North America for Anaergia. This experience helps Ian provide a grounded, technically sound and community focused approach to project development. Ian received his BS in Biochemistry from Villanova University and a MS in Environmental Science from Drexel University. He maintains a Class 1 Wastewater Treatment License for the State Virginia.
