Having joined the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) in 2011, Marc has progressed through various roles and is currently the Vice President of Nuclear Deployment and Fuel Cycle.
In this role, Marc leads the industry's efforts for the deployment of next-generation nuclear technologies and the management of the full nuclear fuel cycle. His responsibilities include overseeing advanced-reactor technology development, licensing, and deployment, as well as fuel supply for both operating and new reactors, used fuel management, recycling, and plant decommissioning.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Marc specializes in bridging the gap between aspirational innovation and market realities by integrating silos and aligning strategy with execution. He serves as a primary strategist for the industry, leading the development of the frameworks necessary for the emerging nuclear sector to achieve global growth.
Marc works closely with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including utilities, designers, constructors, and suppliers. He also represents the industry before external stakeholders such as Federal and State policymakers, regulators, and new market entrants. By synthesizing diverse perspectives, Marc propels high-velocity innovation to unlock opportunities and address critical challenges before they impact project timelines.
Marc holds an MBA and a Master's in Nuclear Engineering.
