Shannon La Grave has been a beekeeper for the past 20 years in the North Texas area and has continued her agricultural education relating to bees by participating in the Master Beekeeping program through Texas A&M where she achieved the level of a Master Craftsman, one of only 5 individuals in the state of Texas. Shannon never forgets that education and involvement with the local community is vital to a higher quality of stewardship being raised up in the next generation.
Shannon has served for over 10 years for a local beekeeping scholarship program, and additionally as the Collin County Bee Club president  and other leadership positions for the past few years. She is regularly to be found at Mount St Michael's being a hands on instuctor for youth ages 8-14 in the local bee club.
Oak Cliff Bee Company is heavily focused on caring for bees in unusual locations, providing high quality services, and bringing education to to offices, tenant environments, and other public spaces. Shannon fully embraces sharing the magic of beekeeping with others through a variety of public events designed to raise awareness of our dependence on bees for many of the foods we enjoy daily.
