-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dennis Levine is a visionary leader at the forefront of climate resilience, food and water security, and agricultural innovation. As Founder & CEO of Water Garden Farms (WGF), he is pioneering a new model of food production through decentralized, fully automated, indoor smart farms that set new global benchmarks for yield, safety and efficiency, ensuring healthy, high-quality produce is affordable and accessible to all.
At WGF, Dennis is not just growing crops, he’s cultivating a sustainable, resilient future by redefining industry standards through decarbonization, water conservation, and profit maximization. WGF’s highly scalable blueprint combines USDA organic growing expertise, smart logistics, and deep marketing know-how with cutting-edge AI-driven agrifacturing developed with Siemens — delivering ready-to-eat products that are untouched by human hands from seed to table. By marrying technology, logistics, and sustainability, WGF maximizes returns for consumers, retailers, shareholders, and our natural environment.
Most recently, WGF’s data center–greenhouse co-location initiative has opened an exciting new frontier — capturing the thermal energy and CO₂ emissions of adjacent data centers to power and enrich its growing environments, dramatically reducing energy consumption and water usage, and turning the infrastructure of the digital economy into a catalyst for sustainable food production.
Dennis’s commitment to climate action and environmental stewardship extends far beyond WGF. He has been a recognized thought leader at COP29, the World Climate Summit, the United Nations, and global forums such as Gulfood and the Food for Future Summit in  Dubai, where he advocates for climate finance, regenerative agriculture, and water resilience. His insights have influenced policymakers, investors, and innovators alike, reinforcing the critical role of private-sector leadership in tackling our environmental crisis and ensuring national food security.
Before founding WGF, Dennis was a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and global investors. Over a distinguished career spanning some of Wall Street’s most influential financial institutions, including Drexel, Burnham, Lambert, Lehman Brothers, and Citibank, he orchestrated multi-billion-dollar transactions that reshaped industries. His passion for leveraging capital markets to drive sustainable impact led him to shift his focus toward climate-conscious investing and regenerative food systems.
His work embodies a simple yet fundamental belief: building a sustainable and equitable future requires bold leadership, innovative models, and collective action. A pioneer of eco-capitalism, Dennis brings more than five decades of experience and a rare combination of financial expertise and environmental advocacy. At this pivotal moment, WGF demonstrates that natural resource management, supply chain resilience, and profitability not only can – but must – go hand in hand.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dennis and his wife, Laurie, have shared 48 years of marriage and a deep-rooted commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Together with their two adult children, they champion a vision for a world where economic success and planetary health are not at odds but inherently aligned.
