Alice is a sophomore at Hunter College double majoring in Urban Studies and Sustainable Development, with a minor in Public Policy. She is a Youth Leader of the Youth for Climate Restoration (Y4CR) Projects Team, where she leads expansion efforts in New York City. Alice joined Y4CR to explore how environmental justice can be meaningfully integrated into education, and in her first year, she organized a climate scientist speaker panel and launched the first climate restoration workshops across NYC schools. She cares about climate advocacy because she wants to raise awareness about communities exploited by urban resilience policies, with a focus on how policy design can better address these inequities. Outside of Y4CR, Alice loves crocheting stuffed animals, practicing sign language, and competing in varsity fencing!
