Mark Levitt joined GIP in 2009, is based in New York and leads GIP’s FamilyOffice and Private Wealth businesses. During his time at GIP, Mr. Levitt hasheld several key roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff toGIP’s CEO and Global Head of Human Capital Management.Prior to GIP, Mr. Levitt spent 14 years at Credit Suisse, where he was mostrecently a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the GlobalInvestment Banking Division. Prior to his appointment to COO, Mr. Levittserved as Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Banking Division, havingpreviously worked in the Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives and EmergingMarkets businesses of Credit Suisse, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, MorganStanley and Bankers Trust. He started his career at Ernst and Young.Mr. Levitt holds an M.B.A from Columbia University and a B.B.A. inAccounting and Finance from Emory University.
